Artist Info: Influenced by a wide range of artists, including A Tribe Called Quest and Bob Dylan, Mat Kearney taught himself how to play the guitar in college and released his debut album, Bullet, in 2004. Kearney continued his rise in the music industry with the release of his album, Nothing Left to Lose. The album’s title track and first single, “Nothing Left to Lose,” achieved gold certification and peaked at number 41 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Kearney’s next album, City of Black & White, climbed to number 13 on the Billboard 200 chart and number one on the Billboard Top Christian Album chart.  His current album, Young Love, peaked at number four on the Billboard 200. Kearney's songs have appeared on several popular television series, including “30 Rock,” “Dirty Sexy Money,” “The Unit,” “Without A Trace,” “Laguna Beach,” “The Hills,” “Scrubs,” “The Closer,” “NCIS” and “Grey's Anatomy,” among others.
