Mike Hammer’s Comedy Magic Show in Vegas

While my college sons were home for Christmas break we headed over to the famous “Fremont Street Experience” in Las Vegas to show them all the bright lights and hoopla, as well as take them to see Mike Hammer’s Comedy Magic Show. The Canyon Club showroom at Four Queens in Downtown Las Vegas, itself is pretty cool too with cozy couches, interesting décor and signed guitars on display by some of your old rock faves. The stage is small, perfect for Mike Hammer’s intimate style. The performance is family friendly and welcomes ages 5 and up. Stick around after Mike Hammer’s act and you’ll be invited to purchase tickets to the L.A. Comedy Club’s following show for only $4! Plan on spending some time on Fremont Street when the canopy covering five blocks is lit up and the street performers are at their best. There’s a new zipline overhead and always plenty of interesting people to watch on the streets. This area of town used to be called “Glitter Gulch.” You still get plenty of that, as well as free concerts, cheap dinners, raunch, and old Vegas history.
