In a large pan that is filled 2/3 full with hot water put in the 2 split chicken breasts and add salt. Cook chicken until tender. When chicken is done remove from the home made broth and set out to cool. While the chicken is cooking chop ½ large onion, ½ green pepper, 5 large stalks of celery, 5 good sized carrots into small cubes. After removing the cooked chicken, add chopped vegetables to broth along with 1 cup brown rice. While vegetables begin to cook, cut the cooled chicken breasts into cubes. Add the cubed chicken into the broth mixture. When rice is almost done, add the small head of green cabbage which has been sliced into small wedges then halved. Add water as needed and salt and pepper to taste. ENJOY!
