Wash beans well first. Cover the beans in pan with about 3 inches of water. Cook the beans on medium heat. While beans cook chop ½ onion, 2 large garlic buds, 3 large stalks celery, 2 large carrots (medium size cubes). Add the chopped vegetables and garlic to beans when beans are at least half tender. Brown the 1lb. of ground turkey and season with salt and pepper. Add to cooked turkey to pot. Add water as you go if necessary to you get the soupy consistency you desire.
